You’ve been translating yourself your whole life.
You can stop here.
Bicultural. High-functioning. Quietly exhausted. Therapy in NYC that actually gets it.
PSYCHOTHERAPIST IN NEW YORK CITY
Take a minute. Deep Breath.
In a city as fast paced as New York, we can easily forget to pause and pay attention to whats happening within us
That feeling that lingers between burnout and anxiety, that is, you holding it together for everyone else and quietly falling apart for yourself.
When the anxiety won't slow down, the overthinking won’t stop. When you are the one everyone can lean on.
Nobody checks on you, or maybe you're afraid to ask for help.
When you feel in between, like you don't quite fit anywhere. It is a level of discomfort that is difficult to put into words.
This is a space where your whole self belongs.
Hi, I'm Suyana.
I'm a licensed clinical social worker in New York City. I'm biracial, the daughter of immigrants, and I know what it feels like to exist between worlds. That lived experience is at the center of how I practice.
I work with high-achieving professionals and creatives who identify as Latine, BIPOC, multicultural, or first and second-generation. People who are tired of translating themselves and ready to be understood without having to explain from the beginning.
My work is relational, warm, and honest. We go deep. And we don't skip the cultural stuff, because that's not extra. It's essential.
This space was built for you…
I support you, regardless of where you are on your life journey.
❋ First and second-generation adults holding the weight of their family's sacrifices alongside their own ambitions.
❋ High achievers who are exhausted from performing competence while quietly questioning everything underneath.
❋ Latine, BIPOC, and multicultural individuals looking for a therapist who already gets it without explaining.
❋ Adults in their 20s and 30s trying to figure out who they actually are versus who everyone else needed them to be.
❋ People with ADHD who are brilliant, creative, and doing the most but still feel like they're "behind."
❋ The strong ones. The ones who hold everyone else together. The ones nobody checks on.
❋ People who are starting to realize that success shouldn't cost them their sense of self.
The work we actually get into.
Anxiety & Chronic Overthinking The racing thoughts that turn one conversation into hours of replaying. We get underneath what your anxiety is protecting and learn how to float through it instead of fighting it.
Attachment Patterns & Relationship Dynamics Why closeness feels complicated. Why you give everything and still feel invisible. We trace the line from your earliest relationships to the patterns showing up right now.
ADHD in High-Functioning Adults Your brain is wired differently. That's real. We work through the exhaustion of masking and the shame of feeling "behind" without reducing you to a diagnosis.
Bicultural & Multicultural Identity The push and pull of holding your parents' world in one hand and your own in the other. We figure out which parts of your identity are yours and which ones were handed to you.
Burnout & the Weight of Being "The Capable One" You're doing the most, always, and it never feels like enough. We look at the emotional cost of high performance and the cultural narratives that taught you rest is earned.
Identity Exploration & Life Transitions Who are you when you're not performing for everyone else? When the roles shift and the script you've been following doesn't fit anymore, we make sense of the in-between.
Perfectionism, Self-Worth & Inner Critic Work That voice saying you're still not doing enough probably started as protection. We figure out where it came from, what it needed, and how to stop letting it run things.
A place to pause in a city that never does.
You've been holding a lot. You don't have to do it alone.
You deserve a space that sees all of you, a place where you belong.
