PSYCHOTHERAPIST IN NEW YORK CITY

You’ve been translating yourself your whole life. You can stop here.

 Bicultural. High-functioning. Quietly exhausted.

Therapy in NYC that actually gets it.

Take a Breath

That feeling sitting somewhere between burnout and anxiety, that's you holding it together for everyone else and quietly falling apart for yourself.

The anxiety won't slow down. The overthinking won't stop. You're the one everyone leans on and nobody checks on, or maybe you're afraid to ask for help because where you come from, asking meant you weren't strong enough to handle it on your own.

You feel in between. Between cultures, between versions of yourself, between the person everyone sees and the one you actually are. Like you don't quite fit anywhere and you can't explain why because most people in your life don't even realize there's a gap.

This is a space where your whole self belongs.

Hi, I'm Suyana.

I'm a licensed clinical social worker in New York City. I'm biracial, the daughter of immigrants, and I know what it feels like to exist between worlds. That lived experience is at the center of how I practice.

I work with high-achieving professionals and creatives who identify as biracial, Latine, BIPOC, multicultural, or first and second-generation.

People who are tired of translating themselves and ready to be understood without having to explain from the beginning.

My work is relational, warm, and honest.
We go deep.

And we don't skip the cultural stuff, because that's not extra.
It's essential.

I work with people who are carrying more than they let on:

  • First and second-generation Lantine and BIPOC adults

holding the weight of their family's sacrifices alongside their own ambitions.

  • High achievers

who are exhausted from performing competence while quietly questioning everything underneath.

  • Latine, BIPOC, and biracial multicultural individuals

looking for a therapist who already gets it without explaining.

  • Adults in their 20s and 30s

trying to figure out who they actually are versus who everyone else needed them to be.

  • People with ADHD

who are brilliant, creative, and doing the most but still feel like they're "behind."

  • The strong ones

The ones who hold everyone else together. The ones nobody checks on.

  • People who are starting to realize

that success shouldn't cost them their sense of self.

The work we actually get into

Feeling uncomfortable in your own skin. Wondering whether you are too much, not enough, or somehow both. Obsessing over every decision. Living between cultures, identities, expectations, or versions of yourself. Maybe the life you built looks successful from the outside but no longer feels aligned on the inside. You do not fit neatly into one box, and you are tired of trying.

A place to pause in a city that never does.

You've been looking for a room where all of you fits. This is it.

01. Reach Out

No pressure. Just a real conversation to see if this feels right.

02. We Meet

I get to know your world, your story, your culture, and what you've been carrying.

03. we go deep

We untangle the patterns that keep you stuck and sit with the stuff you haven’t said out loud yet.

04. you come home to yourself

You stop performing, stop translating, and start living as the person you’ve always been underneath it all.

You've been holding a lot. You don't have to do it alone.

You deserve a space that sees all of you, a place where you belong.
